Squeak dreams of joining the illustrious Hummingbird Calvary. But since a fall as a hatchling left him too afraid to leave the ground and fly, he figures his dream will never come true. So, despite the threat of the terrible tomcat, Sphinx, Squeak sticks to the ground, leaving the air to the true knights.
But then Sphinx attacks while Squeak and his elven mistress, Blossom, hop to the Solstice Moon Dance. The tomcat corners Blossom, and nothing Squeak can do from the ground helps.
Is his love for Blossom strong enough to give him a knight’s wings?
